He has worked on several different projects during his education at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam. Raaar stands for Real Architecture - Architectural Research. In short , Raaar designs buildings but is also always looking for new concepts in architecture. They do research on issues at the intersection of landscape, urban design and architecture.
The goal is to implement the results of the innovative research into the buildings that they make. 'Unsolicited architecture' is a term that often comes along in the work of Raar . The detection of a problem in the city and convert that into an opportunities a way that opens many doors en creates new visions within the build environment. Initially Raar is working independently on these opportunities and then involves the right parties. This always led to new projects that are created by us.
